”I still own you”: Jets QB Aaron Rodgers once mocked Bears fans after scoring a game-clinching TD in 2021

Aaron Rodgers left his 18-year reign with the Green Bay Packers this offseason to make a fresh start with the New York Jets. His journey, filled with accolades, is unforgettable for the Packers as he helped them quench their Super Bowl thirst after a long period of Super Bowl drought.

However, his tenure in Green Bay was also a favorite among the media due to his blunt replies to reporters and mocking of opposing team fans. Among them, the Chicago Bears fanbase was Rodgers’ popular target, to whom he once threw a painful taunt that no Bears fan will possibly ever forget.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers once mocked Bears fans after game-winning TD

The Tom and Jerry relationship between the Bears fans and Aaron Rodgers is one of the most thrilling aspects of any Packers vs. Bears NFL game, apart from their on-field competition. Both parties used to exchange back-to-back taunts before and after the game. Nevertheless, among all of Aaron’s mocking retorts, the sneaky dig at Bears supporters during a 2021 game, in which the Packers claimed a 24-14 victory, definitely haunted Bears fans.

A-rod was seen yelling at the Bears’ fans with some disparaging words in the fourth quarter of the game after scoring on a 6-yard touchdown scramble. Funny enough, it happened just a few days after the former Packers player gushed about how much he adores Chicago as a sports city.

“All my f—ing life, I own you. I still own you. I still own you.”

Though the 39-year-old is not a topic of the Packers’ fanbase now, for his popular diss towards the Bears fans, he will be in their mind even after his retirement.

Aaron Rodgers mocks Bears praising Jordan Love for NFL week 1 win

Before leaving Green Bay, the Jets’ new offensive leader had a 24-5 record versus the Bears throughout his stellar career with the Packers. This is the first season in which the quarterback has been unable to sport his former teasing look for the Packers.

However, the four-time MVP continues to find ways to poke fun at Bears supporters. Though his first stint in the Big Apple carried a major misfortune for him with a season-ending injury, the Green Bay team’s season-opening 24-5 win against the Chicago team brought a reason for him to cheer up against his big rival.

The credit goes to Jordan Love to whom he shouldered his responsibilities. Hence, following the victory night, Aaron Rodgers texted Love to congratulate him on holding his 18-year dominance against the Bears he revealed on “Pat McAfee’s” show.

“Congratulations on keeping the ownership in place,” the message read.

However, though Love only inherited starter duties from Aaron, Aaron’s best friend David Bakhtiari assumed the responsibility of providing taunting replies to the Bears fanbase in favor of Rodgers.
