The highly-anticipated matchup between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz finally took place. Despite being his first boxing venture, the UFC veteran put on an impressive show ultimately losing to the problem child in a unanimous decision.

KSI exchanges heated words with Jake Paul on X

After making a successful comeback in the ring and defeating Nate Diaz via unanimous decision, The Problem Child expressed his ambition to become a world champion in boxing by 2026. KSI took the opportunity to mock Jake, calling him ‘delusional’ for aspiring to be a world champion.

The Misfits Boxing owner pointed out reasons for his skepticism, mentioning that Jake has never beaten a pro boxer in his boxing career. Additionally, Jake’s wish to fight Nate Diaz in an MMA match, along with his failure to knock out the 38-year-old jiu-jitsu black belt, raised doubts about his credibility as a potential world champion in boxing.

KSI also claimed that Jake is afraid of him, as he believes that he(KSI) could ruin Jake’s legacy by defeating Fury in their upcoming fight. In response, Jake dismissed KSI as nothing more than an exhibition fighter, participating only in exhibition events.

“When I beat Tommy, you and him can rematch to fight me. I’m the final boss. That’s how this all plays out.” KSI replied.

The Problem Child professed his love for boxing and accused KSI of prioritizing his ego over the sport’s advancement, believing that KSI’s involvement is detrimental to boxing. Jake also asserted that he would be willing to face KSI in either boxing or MMA and further claimed that he would defeat him in either discipline.

When is the KSI vs Tommy Fury boxing match scheduled?

The highly anticipated clash between KSI and Tommy Fury is set for October 14 at Manchester’s AO Arena. The rivalry between them has intensified over time with confrontational tweets and threats, showcasing their determination to assert dominance in the ring.

On the other hand, KSI stated his aim to achieve what Jake couldn’t, which is defeating Tommy on that significant night in the history of influencer boxing.
