Injury-stricken Vinicius Jr. receives encouragement from former Real Madrid No.7 Cristiano Ronaldo

Vinicius Jr. is one of the best players in the current Real Madrid squad, but he has suffered yet another injury that has put him off the pitch. The Brazilian has battled some serious issues these past few months, including the racism chants in the La Liga stadiums.

With the recent injury further hampering his season for both Madrid and the Brazilian national team, Vinicius is definitely feeling a little down. But it seems that one of his idols has noticed it and sent him a gift to help cheer him up.

Vinicius Jr. receives surprise gift from Cristiano Ronaldo

Vinicius Jr. has never hid his love and admiration for Portuguese and former Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo. He has always copied the celebrations of Ronaldo in many games and is definitely one of his biggest fans. The two attackers have met quite a few times and have had a good relationship. Vinicius has gotten so good that he has inherited the iconic No. 7 shirt that Ronaldo wore.

Recently, Vinicius has suffered yet another injury that has kept him out of action for Real Madrid and Brazil. Cristiano decided to help the young star after he scored in a 2-0 win for Portugal against Liechtenstein. The shirt that he wore in that match was signed by Cristiano, and a personalized message was sent to the Brazilian winger.

Vinicius showed the gift with the message on one of his Instagram posts, with the caption, “A little trip of my gallery.” While the jersey may have been sent to recover the spirits of Vinicius, it could also be due to the fact that Vinicius recently pulled his iconic ‘Calma’ celebration in front of the Valencia fans when he scored a few weeks back. Nonetheless, Vinicius will be happy to receive such a gift from one of his most beloved idols.
