Though the team is having trouble on the offensive side of the ball, the 4-4 mark after having a poor start is surely laudable. Is Davante Adams playing against the Jets?
Days back, Davante Adams sustained an injury by taking a massive hit from the New England Patriots star Jabrill Peppers near the end of the first quarter. Fortunately, he was able to leave the field under his power and resumed play in the contest.
Now, the receiver has been listed in the Raiders injury report, but fans can rest assured as he is not on the list due to any injury. He didn’t take part in the team’s Friday practice due to rest, and hence, he is unlikely to miss the upcoming game against the Jets.
Adams is one of the Raiders’ most explosive weapons on the offensive side. Though he is not happy with his diminishing role in the O-line, he played a pivotal part in the side by accumulating more than 57.5 receiving yards in four games this year. However, his average over/under for receiving yards is 75.5 this season.
Raiders vs Jets injury report
The Jets have ruled out offensive lineman Duane Brown (hip), linebacker Chazz Surratt (ankle), and offensive lineman Billy Turner (finger). They also labeled defensive lineman Will McDonald (ankle) as “questionable” for Sunday’s match, per SI.com.
Wide receiver Allen Lazard (knee), offensive lineman Mekhi Becton (knee), linebacker Quincy Williams (knee), and tight end Jeremy Ruckert (shoulder) had full participation in Friday’s practice.
Meanwhile, the Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee), linebacker Divine Deablo (ankle), quarterback Brian Hoyer (knee), guard Greg Van Roten (biceps and back), and cornerback Nate Hobbs (ankle) were limited in practice.
Linebacker Robert Spillane (hand), linebacker Luke Masterson (concussion), tight end Austin Hooper (calf), and offensive tackle Thayer Munford Jr. (neck) were full participants on Friday. Cornerback Marcus Peters (knee) and fullback Jakob Johnson (concussion) have been ruled as questionable for Sunday. Offensive tackle Kolton Miller (shoulder) have been labeled as doubtful to play.
