The Miami Dolphins are on a roll this season, following a dominant 45-15 victory against the Washington Commanders. Despite a recent setback against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team has been overwhelmingly defeating their opponents by significant margins.
Boasting a 9-3 record, the Dolphins currently lead the AFC East. In their pursuit of extending this lead and fortifying their position as divisional leaders, the team is preparing to take on the Tennessee Titans in their upcoming Week 14 showdown. Both teams have been diligently updating their injury reports in anticipation of this high-stakes clash.
Is Tyreek Hill fit to play in Dolphins vs. Titans?
Tyreek Hill’s absence from Thursday’s practice stirred concerns among fans. The team attributed his non-participation to necessary rest and minor concerns, primarily related to an ankle injury he has been bravely playing through this season. However, the WR made a return for Friday’s practice session.
The ankle injury, persistently battled by the All-Pro receiver throughout the season, lingered as a concern. However, his Friday appearance without additional protection on the affected ankle hinted at a positive progression in his recovery. Though still listed as limited on the injury report, the absence of an injury designation heading into Monday’s game bodes well for the Dolphins’ offensive arsenal. He also sustained a hand injury in the Dolphins match against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Moving towards the veteran’s season performance provides an insight into his significance within the Dolphins offensive scheme. With an impressive 1481 yards amassed from 93 receptions, his 15.9 yards per catch places him prominently among the NFL’s top receivers. The WR’s contribution of 12 touchdowns, coupled with five carries for 15 yards, surely gives him a nod in the MVP race, albeit he believes he is unlikely to get the title.
Dolphins vs Titans injury report
As the Dolphins gear up to face the Tennessee Titans in a pivotal Monday night showdown at the Hard Rock Stadium, their injury report has been a subject of concern and focus.
The absence of starting right guard Robert Hunt, who is grappling with a persistent hamstring injury, will undoubtedly impact Miami’s offensive line strategy. Additionally, the uncertainty surrounding left tackle Terron Armstead and safety Jevon Holland, both listed as questionable, adds more unpredictability to the team’s defensive lineup.
Running back Chris Brooks, aiming for a return from the injured reserve list due to a knee injury, remains questionable. Moreover, the unfortunate move of linebacker Jerome Baker to injured reserve is also a headache for the Dolphins.
However, it’s not all bad news for the team, as a handful of key players have been cleared to participate in the Monday night clash. Defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, offensive tackle Kendall Lamm, running back Raheem Mostert, tight end Durham Smythe, running back De’Von Achane, fullback Alec Ingold, and offensive lineman Robert Jones have been given the green light for the match against the Titans.
Meanwhile, the Titans have their own roster challenges, as defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons’ absence due to a knee injury poses a significant gap in their defensive setup. Besides him, cornerback Kristian Fulton’s hamstring issue and the unavailability of tight end Josh Whyle further diminish their resources for the impending clash. Defensive lineman Teair Tart was also added to the injury report as questionable due to non-injury-related or personal reasons.
