IShowSpeed stuns Chelsea legend Didier Drogba with awkward Paul Pogba question during charity event

Didier Drogba is one of the biggest Chelsea legends ever, having been the focal point of their attack for many years. He is also considered one of the best African players ever, and he is also considered one of the best Premier League strikers.

Drogba is still on the soccer scene, although he has been retired since long ago. The Ivory Coast legend recently participated in a charity match, where he played alongside other soccer legends and even some unique personalities, with an awkward moment being pointed out by fans.

Famous YouTubers Chunkz and AboFlah recently hosted a charity match named Match for Hope, with the intention of raising funds. Many big soccer legends, such as Didier Drogba, Kaka, Eden Hazard, David Villa and even former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, were present; however, it was not only comprised of soccer professionals, but even other YouTube personalities participated.

IShowSpeed, better known as simply Speed, has gained a huge following in recent times due to his streams and YouTube channel. He is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, and has even met his idol recently. Speed was a part of the charity game, and though he did not have much impact on the pitch, he provided some interesting moments.

After the game was over, with Drogba scoring a brilliant brace, he was greeted by Speed. The American YouTuber had a very funny question to ask him, “Bro I got a question, are you Pogba’s dad?” The absurd question is part of the persona Speed has built, and while Drogba was initially stunned, he laughed and answered hilariously too saying, “No, no, no. I’m the original he’s the copy. Nah, he’s my bro.”

Speed also got involved in another exciting moment, when he gave a crunching tackle to Brazilian legend Kaka, which earned him a yellow card. It may be due to the Cristiano Ronaldo superfan not appreciating Kaka leaving out his idol in his perfect player.

What is Didier Drogba doing these days?

Didier Drogba may be retired but he is still very active in the sport of soccer. Just last year, he hosted the Ballon d’Or ceremony and handed the prestigious award to Lionel Messi. The Ivory Coast legend was also very active during the recent AFCON tournament, showing his support for his nation, Ivory Coast, which went on to win the tournament. Drogba was recently inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Drogba had also tried to become the Ivory Coast soccer federation’s leader but failed to win. He is also co-owner of USL championship club Phoenix Rising. Recently, Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen has been compared to Drogba many times, and is being linked to his previous club Chelsea as well.

He works with many organizations to help people in need, and is widely beloved in his nation. He also meets up with other big soccer names from time to time, which makes headlines every time.

It is safe to say Didier Drogba is not done yet, and we can be sure to see more of him in the following months.
