While Fernando’s counterparts like Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, etc. have already turned away from Formula 1, Nando doesn’t think his mojo is going down yet. We have drivers like Max Verstappen who do not intend to keep racing, and we have Alonso, who refuses to give up and challenges the youngsters.

Fernando Alonso is currently giving his best performances every weekend, looking out for a potential race win. Fans have been baffled by his boundless racing techniques even in his 40s and wonder what kind of motivation propels Fernando forward.
While Fernando Alonso simply laughs off the age concerns and says sarcastically that other drivers are too harsh on him, he has also revealed a huge factor that helped him continue racing and chasing the success he wants.
“It’s difficult to say. We have different personalities and motivations. Lewis always did really well to stay focused and competitive in the periods of his life when he didn’t have a competitive package. Those periods weren’t many, but he was always performing to a high level. Now he’s not having the best car, Red Bull is dominating, but he’s still fighting always. He’s chasing Perez in P2 and he’s never giving up. It motivates all of us to see how Lewis keeps the motivation after winning so many titles.”
Fernando Alonso had only applauses for Lewis’s current performance, as he is fighting to get the most out of a struggling car, the W14. Fernando considers it a deciding reason that makes him not want to quit.
