Jade Cargill professionally signed with WWE, set to drop her first track next week

It was during WWE Royal Rumble in January 2024 that noted the spectacular show of the Storm, aka Jade Cargill. Her significant presence lasted 11 minutes, during which she defeated Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, and Naomi, marking her stamp on the rival organization. This was her long-awaited WWE ring debut, having signed a long-term deal with the company last year.

Then again, WWE kept fans wondering about which brand she would join. Now it looks like she has made her choice and will officially join the WWE’s main roster as a member of the Blue Brand.

Cargill herself announce to appear on Friday night in WWE Smackdown

Lots of people were tuning in to this week’s WWE Smackdown to see the “face-to-face” meeting between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes before WrestleMania. Meanwhile, at the end of the show, excitement reached a fever pitch when a surprise name from the women’s division stole the spotlight. Jade Cargill made the much-anticipated official announcement that she would be joining the blue brand.

Though she has made cameo appearances on the blue brand before, Jade Cargill is now set to become an official member of the SmackDown roster. WWE used a clip from Friday’s broadcast to promote her appearance where she named herself a “once-in-a-lifetime talent.” With next week’s edition of SmackDown coming up, fans can’t wait for her main roster in-person appearance.

In the video clip, she said, “Let’s make things clear. I didn’t come here to be the next anyone. Jade Cargill is a once-in-a-lifetime generational talent. I’m the type of presence that makes everyone sit up and stand up straight when I enter. I don’t even have to speak and I’m the trending topic. I am the headline. They’re going to build statues of me and you don’t have to like it. But you damn sure can’t deny it.”

Fans are impatiently awaiting Cargill’s formal appearance on the main roster, but WWE’s snail’s pace is getting tiresome. It seems the creative team is putting in a lot of time and effort to make sure her debut becomes special. However, Cargill has already established herself as an exception in pro wrestling because of her incredible performance at the Royal Rumble, where she tossed the fearsome Nia Jax badly.

Jade Cargill involved in most recent women’s Royal Rumble match

Jade Cargill had a spectacular debut at the Royal Rumble on January 27, placing third after entering at number 28. Her influence rippled across the women’s division, especially to Nia Jax, who was still suffering to endure pain from Cargill’s unbelievable destruction.

However, the highlight was also arguably her vicious fight with Bianca Belair, which grabbed the audience and ignited their interest for a possible WrestleMania showdown. Belair had already created history by taking home the title once, so the night was to discover how Cargill handled the former Smackdown champion.

The Storm set out that night to establish her career path in WWE using the momentum she had gained from her time at All Elite Wrestling. Watching the collision of these two powerhouse athletes at The Show of Shows guaranteed nothing short of exciting.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
