After leaving AEW, female pro wrestler Jade Cargill has recently joined WWE on a multi-year contract. Despite becoming the AEW champion several times, the female star has chosen to join the Stamford-based promotion for her own good reasons.
In a recent interview, the female wrestler explained all the factors that she kept in mind while joining WWE after her contract with AEW expired. She even pointed out some key differences between the WWE and AEW working environments.
Jade Cargill talks about the difference between WWE and AEW
After yesterday’s WWE contract signing announcement, former AEW superstar Jade Cargill was interviewed on “The Ringer Wrestling Show”, where she talked about her goals and ambitions for joining WWE. Jade said that she wants to create a legacy with her wrestling. She also expressed her desire to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
At one point in the interview, Jade was asked what’s the one thing in WWE that will give her the scope to unlock a new horizon. The former AEW champ said it was the better training facilities with great stuff and it will help reach her full potential as a wrestler. She also said that money is not her actual goal rather it’s her passion for wrestling.
“Reps, reps, quality coaching staff, the best training facility you can get in the world. That’s what this system can do for me. I don’t need this business, I can go home and be relatively fine. I’m here because I’m hungry, I love what I do and I wanna create a name for myself and a legacy for my daughter and my family and I mean that. I don’t need the money, the money’s great thank you I appreciate that but this comes from the heart.” said Jade Cargill.
She further added, “This is something that I picked up and I’m not gonna put down until I become great, and if you wanna bet against me, be my guest ‘cause at the end of the day you’re gonna be a fan anyway.”
Details on Jade Cargill’s contract with WWE
Jade Cargill has officially become part of WWE Universe yesterday. After the multi-year contract signing was announced she was seen in the WWE Performance Center situated in Orlando, Florida.
According to some reports, Jade will be paid handsomely compared to a normal newcomer, but the paycheck will be much less than the top female superstars of the roster. The exact value is not specified anywhere in those reports.
A major concern arises regarding her debut, as it is still not clear whether she will debut on the main roster or in the NXT roster as a newcomer in the promotion. But, considering her experience there is a high possibility of her debuting in either Monday Night Raw or in Friday Night SmackDown.
