Jake Paul, having successfully concluded the year with two consecutive wins, is now on the brink of entering the professional boxing championship title pool. Paul doesn’t overlook the fact that he started the year 2023 with a loss in February, with Tommy Fury being the man responsible for his first defeat in his professional boxing career.
Since then, The Problem Child has been vocal about his desire for a revenge fight against Fury. According to Paul, Fury’s win was controversial, as he firmly believes it should have been a victory for him, but the judges didn’t award him the points.
Jake Paul claims to have sent two fight contracts
After the fight against André August on December 15th, Paul has been clear about his goals. Jake consistently drops hints about his potential opponents for the upcoming March 2024 boxing event on DAZN.
Recently, once again, ‘The Problem Child’ didn’t shy away from informing the fans about his plans. While there is no specific opponent in talks for the next bout, Paul is considering two options for his next challenge.
Jake Paul announced on his Twitter handle that his team has sent out two contracts on the first day of 2024, and he informed that whoever accepts the fight first will get the chance to feature the bout against him on March 2nd in Puerto Rico.
Paul tweeted saying, “My team sent out two contracts today. Let’s see which of the two potential opponents accepts first. Saturday, March 2nd. Puerto Rico. Live on DAZN.”
Fans are also aware of the fact that Jake Paul sent the offer to Tommy Fury for the rematch, which Tommy accepted three weeks earlier. Now fans are thinking they are still in talks, as from those 2 opponents, one might be Fury, as per fans belief. The other one can be KSI since both have shown interest in fighting but never came to a conclusion.
Jake Paul vaguely announces his next fight date
While announcing his next potential opponent, Paul also mentioned a date but didn’t make it clear whether he would be fighting on that date or whether he would be making an announcement about his opponent.
The date of March 2nd, 2024, is what Paul tweeted about, mentioning the broadcasting channel Dazn. Recently, Jake also got in touch with Indian professional boxer Neeraj Goyat.
On social media, Goyat called out Jake for the match-up. Later, the 26-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer did accept the challenge and even commented on his post saying, “Anytime, Anywhere.” Via Republic World.
What do you think about those two fighters that Jake Paul contracted at the start of 2024? You think Neeraj Goyat can also be from those choices?
