Jake Paul sparks controversy alleging Jorge Masvidal’s upcoming boxing match vs Nate Diaz in deleted tweet

Jake Paul has always been someone who is in talks for his boxing and also for his controversial talks in the fighting community. Be it MMA or boxing, Paul is everywhere, getting the attention of fans after raising his winning bar to 8.

Fighting fans remember how controversial the Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal relationship is. There was a time once when both Jake and Masvidal came face-to-face but thanks to security intervening, this conformation didn’t turn into an ugly brawl.

Jake Paul claims Jorge Masvidal will box Nate Diaz in a deleted tweet

Recently, former UFC BMF champion Jorge Masvidal made a surprising tweet about his career. Jorge called up his career in MMA after announcing his retirement at UFC 287. Masvidal lost the fight against Gilbert Burns via a unanimous decision.

Gamebred then went on to promote his boxing and MMA promotions all over the USA, but now it looks like he has changed plans for the fans. There have always been a lot of rumors earlier that Jake Paul and the 39-year-old will fight each other in the cage or boxing ring, but the latter has always denied those rumors.

The recent tweet by former BMF champion ā€œunretiredā€ excited not just the fans but also Jake Paul. Once the tweet was up, Jake Paul didnā€™t shy away from sharing his sources and facts about the rematch between Gamebred and Nate Diaz in the boxing ring. He also asked Jorge to get permission from UFC President Dana White so they could match up this time.

Jake Paul wrote in a now deleted tweet, “Yeah, yeah. Going to box Nate Diaz… whatever. Come see me when Dana gives you permission.ā€

Paul recently won the fight against AndrƩ August and is now also getting ready for his next bout in March, but he always keeps his eyes on targets.

Jorge Masvidal declares ā€˜unretiredā€™ eight months after retiring from MMA.

Gamebred retired from MMA at UFC 287 when Gilbert Burns dominated him in a three-round fight. The former MMA star lost four fights in a row since 2020, which was a clear setback for the UFC’s next potential champion. Now this comeback will bring more joy to the fans, as they are already guessing UFC 300 headliners.

After giving up, he said, ā€œI love everybody here. This is where I started my career; itā€™s been a long 20 years, 50 fights. Sometimes your favorite basketball player doesnā€™t have that 3-pointer anymore. Your favorite quarterback loses that rifle. I donā€™t feel the same when I get in here anymore. Itā€™s been 20 long years. I love this f****** sport. Iā€™m a multi-millionaire. I didnā€™t start with anything. I can say Iā€™m good for life now.ā€

This speech came after facing defeat against Burns. Later at UFC 291, Masvidal was seen wrapping his belt around the waist of the winner of main event Justin Gaethje.

Jorge Masvidal did talk about Jake Paul but never accepted the fight, as he thought Paul was unworthy. But what about you guys? Will this return of Gamebred bring more excitement to his combat sport career? Will fans get to see Jake Paul and Masvidal competing against each other anytime soon?
