Jake Paul defeated Ryan Bourland in his most recent outing inside the boxing ring and it certainly got the attention of Ryan Garica, the former WBC interim lightweight champion. Paul’s accomplishments inside the boxing ring have always been criticized and similar was the case after his victory over Bourland in Puerto Rico.
After the fight, Paul and Garcia had a heated exchange on Paul’s live podcast where the duo exchanged words.
Jake Paul lashes out at Ryan Garcia
Jake Paul always does live podcasts after his boxing matches and similar was the case after his victory against Ryan Bourland. On the podcast, Paul went off at Ryan Garcia as Garcia vowed to end Paul’s boxing career as he felt he was responsible for Paul’s entry into the boxing world which he now considers to be a disrespect to the sport.
“You should have got up off the floor when you got hit with a widow body shot, buddy. Damn, you f**king little p**sy. Didn’t even try to get back up. No backbone, no balls, fucking afraid, scared little pussy,” Paul said of Garcia’s sole professional defeat to Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis who defeated Garcia with a body shot.
Paul admitted that Davis is one of the most powerful punchers but weighs only 135 lbs whereas he is 200 lbs. Moreover, Paul also found Garcia’s footwork to be very inferior to that of boxers but praised Garica’s speed even though he labeled Garcia as a ‘feather puncher.’
Paul also face-timed Garcia on the podcast which lasted a couple of seconds and the duo exchanged insults. “Imma put you back on the canvas like Tank did,” Paul threatened what he would do if they ever fought.
KSI’s hilarious thoughts on Jake Paul’s latest fight
Jake Paul has many big rivals in the boxing circuit, and none is bigger than Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, popularly known as KSI. Sans a defeat to Tommy Fury, both Paul and KSI are undefeated in professional boxing. KSI did not mince words after he came to know about Paul’s recent fight.
“I didn’t even know Jake fought,” stated KSI on X as he subtly alluded that Paul does not pull big numbers or even create any type of hype surrounding his fight. KSI had previously live-streamed his sparring match with IShowSpeed at the same time when Paul fought Andre August who was knocked out by Paul in the first round.
The rivalry between KSI and Paul started when the two had a face-off inside the ring after Paul defeated AnEsonGib. It did not materialize into a fight as they fought plenty of other fighters for the next four years. Paul has always accused KSI as the reason for the fight not happening, but KSI has cited it to be finance and promotion related.
Nonetheless, KSI is a close friend and business partner of Logan Paul, the older brother of Jake. KSI and Logan Paul have fought twice, once in the amateurs and once in the professional circuit. The fight at amateurs ended in a majority draw whilst the professional fight ended in a split decision victory for KSI.
