Ja’Marr Chase leaves fans cracking up with a witty convenience store reference after the Cardinals game

The Cincinnati Bengals’ poor start to the season put them in uncharted territory. The team, led by Ja’Marr Chase, had to work extremely hard to regain their footing. They achieved this in Week 5 when they defeated the Arizona Cardinals, improving their record to 2-3.

It’s worth mentioning that their Pro Bowl receiver was undoubtedly the biggest beneficiary of Joe Burrow‘s performance. As a result, Chase made a humorous comment at a convenience store, referencing one of his recent remarks after the team’s victory the previous night

Ja’Marr Chase shows his witty side

The Bengals are coming off a disastrous Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans. The receiver appeared unable to relax and lost control of his anger when speaking to reporters after the defeat.

“Nah, I’m open,” Ja’Marr Chase said. “I’m always f–king open. Excuse my profanity, I’m sorry,” he responded, when asked if he believed he was not receiving enough space against defenders.

After the victory over the Cardinals, the receiver posted a picture of a 7-11 convenience store on X. This was primarily intended as a covert jab at his detractors, comparing his availability to that of 7-11

Meanwhile, with the victory, the Bengals have apparently become available for a win, defeating the Cardinals 34-20 and surpassing the 30-point mark for the first time this year.

WR’s pivotal performance in Bengals win

Ja’Marr Chase showed his athletic prowess beyond lines and expectations during the whole game against the Cardinals and served as the perfect companion of Burrow to help him score.

He was the ideal teammate for Burrow to assist him in scoring throughout the entire game, displaying his athletic capability above and beyond limits and expectations.

Ja’Marr enthralled his fans on Bengals’ victory night by scoring his first season touchdown against the Cardinals, setting a record in the process. He had 15 receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns when the game was over. In NFL history, Chase is only the fifth player to have 15 receptions and three touchdowns in a single game, according to ESPN.

When questioned about his record-breaking performance in the post-game interview, the player revealed that his main goal was to perform at his highest level rather than to set or break a record.

“It feels good, but that wasn’t my goal to break that record. I didn’t know that was going to happen. I just caught as many passes as I could if they came my way,” Ja’Marr Chase said.

His heart always becomes attracted mostly by his team wins rather than any other things that he also claimed on the interview.

“I’m just happy we got the win at the end of the day. That’s what matters the most. Going back home to Cincinnati with the win.”

The Bengals are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 6 game? Do you think they will be able to maintain their winning streak?
