After finalizing a blockbuster trade with the New York Jets, the Green Bay Packers’ long-time MVP Aaron Rodgers has finally landed in Big Apple. Following his trade, the Jets team seemingly got injected with a booster dose. Their existing players and front office members are constantly heaping praise on the 39-year-old veteran for the newly brought freshness.
The Jets owner Woody Johnson sent out a reminder to fans about their first four training camp practice tickets and fans exceeded their barometer of the excitement and proved their football craziness once again by making the tickets sold out within a few minutes.
Aaron Rodgers’ presence makes waves for the Jets
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets fans just took three minutes on Monday morning to purchase tickets for their favorite team’s first four open training camp practices, albeit he also noted five additional practices will be available within some days for fans who could not get tickets.
“Tickets to the Jets’ first four open training camp practices sold out this morning in three minutes. Five more practices will be made available in the coming days.”

The Jets gave the season ticket holders first dibs and common publics were allowed to purchase tickets through the team’s app and Ticketmaster. The franchise’s public training camp will mark its beginning on Saturday, July 22 and more tickets for later dates will be available to purchase on July 31 and August 7, per Draftkings Network.
Besides this, the NFL announced Aaron‘s new team to be featured on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ this year and hence, fans can grace their eyes with A-Rod and the rest of the Jets weapons on their television screens this summer. They appeared on HBO for the first time back in 2010 when Rex Ryan stole the limelight by getting a (Bleep Bleep) snack!

Jets’ poised for transformation with the addition of $150 million QB Aaron Rodgers
The ex-Packers QB signed a three-year, $150 million contract with his former team in March 2022 and was set to start his second season in the upcoming season before landing in New York. He revised his deal with the Packers’ cap of $57.1 million this season.
The 10-time Pro-Bowler’s total compensation for 2024 is $107.55 million as he agreed to convert his fully-guaranteed $58.3 million option bonus to next year’s amount. By this move, he is going to earn just $1.165 million in 2023, albeit he would make $107.55 million in 2024.
According to NFL Media, the move was necessary for the Jets to fit the four-time MVP into their squad in the first place. His decision to sign the revised deal also favored his former team by saving around $14.6 million in cap room this year.
Gang Green was the first AFL team to grab the Lombardi trophy against a team from the NFL by winning their one and only Super Bowl in 1969 against the Baltimore Colts. Since then, the franchise is facing a 54-year Super Bowl drought after failing to make their entry into the Super Bowl. It also marks the second-longest drought behind the Detroit Lions.
With Rodgers at the helm, the Jets fans are keeping hopes high to end the prolonged drought in the upcoming season. Do you think that the Lombardi trophy can come to New York this year?
