Jets QB Aaron Rodgers reportedly made “millions” of dollars with his appearance on ESPN’s Pat McAfee show

The Pat McAfee Show, hosted by former NFL punter Pat McAfee, has become a sensation in the world of sports and entertainment. Known for its candid and unfiltered interviews with athletes, celebrities, and public figures, the show has amassed a dedicated following.

In this unorthodox and engaging platform, Aaron Rodgers has time and again made highly anticipated appearances, generating considerable buzz among sports fans and media outlets. However, recent reports suggest that A-Rod could possibly be making ‘millions’ out of his appearance sessions on the show.

Aaron Rodgers allegedly made “millions” of dollars from Pat McAfee interviews

A recent article from the The New York Post sent shockwaves throughout the sports industry, suggesting that Aaron Rodgers was compensated with “millions” for his guest appearances on the show. While the exact figure has not been disclosed, the notion that a professional athlete could command such a substantial fee for a podcast appearance speaks volumes.

In his own show last night, Pat McAfee said, “Our company went from being valued anywhere between $2-5m two years back, to being over $500 million now. I’m saying that human that knows that, all the people that have helped make this happen have all been paid very handsomely. That is what business is in my eyes. That is what you do in this world.”

He added, “The Aaron Rodgers Tuesday became the biggest podcast in the world, by a lot. So one holiday season, we wrote a check saying, ‘Here’s $450,000, this is nowhere near enough for what you’ve done for us. Aaron was very uncomfortable with that, obviously. But then I started breaking down what he’s done. So you’re telling me that these billion-dollar corporations have made it taboo for people to appreciate their time, effort, and work?”

How much is ESPN paying Pat McAfee?

For something as big as The Pat McAfee Show, any corporation will have to pay a hefty fee in order to bring it over to their platform, considering all the following and future watchtime being generated from it.

That is exactly why Pat McAfee, expanded his successful television show’s reach by transitioning it to ESPN, a move facilitated by his lucrative five-year contract worth a staggering $85 million, signed earlier this year. This contract essentially ensures that his show is now seen by a majority of NFL fans across the country and that the guests he invites on his show get as much attention as they deserve.

As for ESPN, they’re happy to have McAfee around for as long as he keeps raking in the numbers and generating quality content about America’s beloved sport.
