Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso: Brothers will square off business at WrestleMania 40

The WWE Universe is about to witness a personal and intriguing rivalry between the once-close brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso, as they go head-to-head at WrestleMania 40. For months, Jimmy has been interfering with Jey’s business since he departed from The Bloodline. Jimmy has cost Jey championship glory on three different occasions, most recently against GUNTHER for the WWE Intercontinental title on Raw a few weeks ago.

Jey Uso finally challenged Jimmy Uso to a one-on-one match at WrestleMania this year after months of frustration with his estranged brother’s actions, and Jimmy Uso accepted.

Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso set for WrestleMania 40

Jimmy and The Bloodline have caused trouble on several occasions by interfering with Jey’s matches on Raw. Their actions even led Jey to lose an Intercontinental Title match against Gunther.

Moreover, Jimmy harbors resentment towards his brother for leaving him and The Bloodline, as he thinks Jey did it to become a bigger star. The tension between the brothers recently peaked when Jey challenged Jimmy to a WrestleMania match, which Jimmy readily accepted.

During the WWE Friday Night Smackdown, Uso was backstage and seemed to be very excited, which startled Paul Heyman, who is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame soon.

Jey Uso’s brother challenged him to a match on Monday Night Raw, which Jimmy accepted.

Even though they were both main-evening WrestleMania 39 just a year ago, this year they will be competing against each other as WWE has confirmed their match for WrestleMania 40.

They will be competing in a singles match at the greatest WWE event of the year.

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso’s rivalry explained

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have been involved in a heated rivalry since August 2023. However, when Jey was traded to Monday Night Raw, their feud was put on hold for a while.

Despite this, Jimmy continued to interfere in Jey’s matches, resulting in Jey losing all of his championship opportunities.

Eventually, Jey challenged Jimmy to a match, which Jimmy accepted, and the match was made official for WrestleMania 40.

Some may believe that it was inevitable from the moment that Roman Reigns formed The Bloodline and became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Others may argue that it was destined to happen since the day that The Usos were born 38 years ago. Whatever the reason may be, Jey Uso is about to face his estranged sibling on WrestleMania 40.

It could be argued that a WrestleMania showdown between Jey Uso and his brother Jimmy Uso has been brewing for less than a year. This is because Jimmy Uso betrayed Jey at SummerSlam, claiming that he did so to protect him.

When Jey super kicked Jimmy and left The Bloodline and SmackDown, their rivalry began to develop.
