According to football analyst Adam Schefter, the Chargers have already scheduled an interview with the talismanic head coach. He said that Harbaugh would be meeting the Chargers officials later in the day to discuss the possibility of stepping in.
If the former Wolverines HC does come in to take over the reins of this faltering franchise, the likes of Kyren Williams and Puca Nacua will get a new lease of life and will surely perform at their very best under the tutelage of a title-winning coach like Harbaugh.
