Jinder Mahal brags about trending on Twitter

On this week’s Monday Night RAW, WWE announced the main event for the next episode that features a match between Jinder Mahal and Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After the announcement Tony Khan went to twitter and criticized the booking of Mahal in a title match.

Mahal after being silence in social media for over two years, showed up and shared his reply to Khan. This has made his fans to celebrate and they gave a huge applause for Mahal. On the recent interview in “WWE: The Bump”, Mahal said, “I was trending all day on Twitter all day yesterday. Somehow again the Modern Day Maharaja is the talk of the town.”

Mahal expressed his concern that rising stars like Indus Sher are being overshadowed by established superstars such as CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes, who are stealing the spotlight from the next generation of superstars. Mahal initially debuted in WWE in 2011 as an NXT superstar, eventually transitioning to the main roster later that year alongside The Great Khali.

Despite consistent appearances on WWE shows, he didn’t gain significant recognition. However, his career took off when he won the WWE Championship from Randy Orton in 2017. Mahal held the championship for 170 days, establishing himself as the “Modern Day Maharaja” and dominating WWE during that period.

Mahal fires shots at Seth Rollins ahead of title match

On last episode of Monday Night RAW, Jinder Mahal interrupted the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who was talking about his plans for the upcoming Royal Rumble 2024. Mahal interrupted and challenged Rollins for the title.

On the show Mahal was asked about the segment against Rollins in the RAW. He said, “I’m insulted by the reactions but it was a great start to the new year until I was interrupted by The Rock. But nonetheless, this past week, was in the ring with Seth Rollins, told him exactly how I feel, and now I’m number one contender to the world heavyweight champion.”

Mahal said that the people forgot how great he was, even he had competed against the greatest competitors of WWE like Randy Orton, John Cena, Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles. Mahal’s words indicates that he still has the ability in him and he is eager to get back his respect by winning the title from Seth Rollins.
