NXT superstar Carmelo Hayes has recently lost the NXT Championship title to Ilja Dragunov at the No Mercy Pay-Per-View event. But, Ilja and Carmelo were very humble towards each other after the match. Carmelo is yet again set to prove his ability next week in a match against Bron Breakker.
However, both superstars are going to have two of the most famous faces in WWE on the ringside to mentor them. Those famous people are John Cena and Paul Heyman.
John Cena set to be on Carmelo Hayes’ corner at WWE NXT
On the last episode of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker took a dig at former NXT champion Carmelo Hayes and the present NXT North American champion Trick Williams. As Trick and Hayes are pretty good friends, Bron wanted to create a dispute among them by his words.

This got Cramelo furious prompting him to book himself a match against Breakker. The match will take place on the next Tuesday’s episode of NXT. But there were more surprises in store, as Cramelo revealed that WWE’s “Greatest Of All Time” wrestler, John Cena, would be in his corner during the match during that match. Later in the night, the advisor of The Bloodline Paul Heyman announced that he would be in the corner of Bron Breakker for the match.
Previously, Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker had faced two times against each other and the former NXT champion was victorious both times.

Next week’s episode of WWE NXT is going to be a blast as several big faces of the WWE main roster are going to make appearances on the third brand of the Stamford-based promotion. The episode will be star-struck due to the competition with AEW Dynamite. Next Tuesday is a big day for AEW as Adam Copeland who was formerly known as Edge in WWE will have his debut match in the AEW ring and it is sure to be a hit.

WWE is trying its best to not fall behind as John Cena and Paul Heyman will be guest monitors in the match of Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker. It was also announced that Cody Rhodes aka The American Nightmare will also appear in a segment and he will make a special announcement. As these superstars are just going to make an appearance, Asuka will fight against Roxanne Perez in the ring of NXT. It will be Asuka’s first appearance in NXT after almost four years.
