Goldust is just one of many extreme wrestlers who go to great lengths to portray their roles. Then there’s Jon Moxley, who refuses to conform to someone else’s methods.
Following Moxley’s most recent bout at the Revolution pay-per-view, this AEW star has been completely absent from television for a few weeks. He’s not even in the country right now, but that hasn’t stopped him from revealing his new hairstyle to the wrestling world.
Jon Moxley sports fresh look
Ever since his 2019 debut at Double or Nothing, Jon Moxley has been an icon in AEW. No other ex-WWE wrestler has had as much of an impact on AEW as Moxley has, with the possible exception of Chris Jericho. He has supported Tony Khan and AEW through good times and bad, thus his influence stretches well beyond the wrestling mat.
Moxley hasn’t been on TV much lately because he and the other members of the Blackpool Combat Club are in Mexico City for a CMLL show. The excitement level is over the roof since they are scheduled to wrestle tomorrow night.
So, the 38-year-old made an appearance in a promotional video for CMLL before the event, and he had a newly shaved head. The clip of his new bald look went viral online, sparking debates and excitement within the wrestling world.
Fans can’t stop talking about Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Matt Sydal working together against the best Lucha stars. After their trip to Mexico, the BCC will return to the U.S. for AEW Collision.
Moxley, on the other hand, will make a detour to Japan for a fight at NJPW Sakura Genesis. While Moxley is out, AEW CEO Tony Khan has already made arrangements for a replacement.
Jon Moxley’s replacement in BCC announced
Moxley will not be participating in this week’s AEW Collision since he is preparing to go to Japan immediately after the BCC’s battle in Arena Mexico. So, his absence from AEW television will extend another week. In Moxley’s absence, the AEW CEO has swiftly picked someone to represent BCC at next week’s AEW Collision.
Katsuyori Shibata, a former star of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, will replace Moxley in the upcoming BCC battle versus the Righteous and Lance Archer on AEW Collision. Shibata has got permission to fill in for Moxely following his previous encounter at AEW Dynamite against Will Ospreay and received a great deal of praise.
We’re looking forward to seeing Shibata show off his skills and enjoy his return to wrestling. Are you excited to check the replacement, or do you miss Jon Moxley? Share your opinion in the comment section.
