After entering Week 10, with three losses in the team’s past five contests, the Buffalo Bills team was expected to fight vehemently and rob a win from the underperforming Denver Broncos team. Unfortunately, not only did the Bills add another loss to their losing streak, but also their quarterback, Josh Allen, touched an undesirable landmark.
The loss fell heavily on the whole team, triggering Bill’s starter to exchange his view with the reporters in an impudent manner following the losing night.
Josh Allen responds to media in defiant fashion
The Bills snatched wins from big teams like the Miami Dolphins, yet they fell short of managing floundering teams like the New York Jets and New England Patriots, while the defeat to the Ravens added another nightmare for the team.
For the sixth straight game, the Bills offense failed to score 25 points or fewer and turned the ball over four times during the course of the game. It increased anxiety following Josh Allen’s team’s 24-22 loss to the Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Even so, the underwhelming performance did not dim the Bills player’s optimism about his club; when asked if he still believed that his team could turn things around offensively, he responded positively.
“I’m still confident. But it’s no secret the clock’s ticking, got to have some urgency now.”
The rationale behind his conviction was nothing but Bill’s experience in tackling this type of situation before, he uttered to shut down the speculations.
“Because we’ve done it before,” Josh Allen said.
Prior to that, Josh Allen stepped on the field to battle against the Ravens, being an ugly target of poor calls by the refs in their Week 9, digesting a hefty fine. Following the NFL fans, the incident was even described by the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce as “bogus” and “bull****”.
Allen reaches an unwanted landmark
Even though Josh Allen’s squad dropped in Week 8, a former NFL player expressed his optimism for him; nonetheless, in Week 10, Allen finished the game with his second-lowest total of the year (177).
In addition to setting a record, the starter has intercepted passes in six straight games that evening, the longest stretch by a starter for the Bills since Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2011, per Bleacher Report.
After getting intercepted three times by the Jets players in their season-opening game, the 27-year-old had his second-highest interception total of the evening with two interceptions. Though it’s unclear if he will win the MVP award this season, the athlete leads the NFL in interceptions already.

If this struggle continues, Bill’s hero might soon find himself out of the elite quarterback category and also be out of the contenders list for the MVP. What is your prediction on the MVP of this season? Let us know in the comment box.
