Kaka snubs Cristiano Ronaldo from his perfect soccer list ft. Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr, Kylian Mbappe

Kaka was considered one of the finest soccer players of his time. The Brazilian magician shone brightly for AC Milan and led the club to numerous triumphs, including the UEFA Champions League title. Kaka’s career was more than the number of trophies he won or the high-profile clubs he played for. He was simply a genius with the ball.

With his impeccable abilities as a midfielder, Kaka is the right player to pick the perfect player for every department, and the former Real Madrid man made a notable omission from his list of perfect players in his most recent interview with GOAL.

Kaka’s career may have been cut short by injury problems after he moved to Real Madrid, but the Brazilian still achieved everything possible at the highest level of the game. He won the Scudetto and UEFA Champions League with AC Milan before lifting the La Liga title with Real Madrid alongside fellow 2009 summer signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of Kaka’s ideal player selection in a recent interview with GOAL, even though they played together. Kaka’s choice of Marcelo as the best left-footed player is understandable and makes perfect sense. Considered by many to be the finest left back of his time, Marcelo won it all with Real Madrid before transferring to Greece and, finally, returning to Brazil.

For the best right-footed player, Kaka chose Neymar, whom he played alongside briefly for the Brazil national team. Sadly, the former PSG player never reached great levels and recently suffered a long-term injury while on international duty.

For speed, the former Orlando City player went with Kylian Mbappe, whom he credited with being the fastest player with the ball at his feet. For strength, Kaka chose Erling Haaland, who has been a goal machine since signing for Manchester City in the summer of 2022.

For skills, the AC Milan legend went with Lionel Messi and had little words to say about the Argentine, claiming the world already knew him.

Kaka likely to join Brazilian national team coaching staff in 2024

With such success at the highest level of the sport, the former Real Madrid man still feels he has something to offer in the sport as a manager, which was the motivation behind attaining his coaching badges in 2022 in his home country. With these badges, Kaka can begin coaching in Brazil, and recent reports have suggested that the World Cup winner may be a part of the coaching staff of the Brazilian national team when Carlo Ancelotti joins in 2024.

Sadly, the legendary Italian coach has made a U-turn on that decision to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, which leaves Kaka’s future role with the national team in serious doubt.

Whatever the future holds for the Brazilian, he’ll need to take his time before venturing fully into management. It’s been revealed in the past few years that the best players don’t always make the best managers, as the case has been with Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, and even Wayne Rooney.

Which European team would you like to see Kaka manage in the future?
