Kenny Omega is set to return in next Week’s AEW Dynamite

Due to a difficult struggle with Diverticulitis that began in December, Kenny Omega has been out of commission from AEW for several months. However, fans of the former AEW and IWGP Champion can now rejoice as “The Cleaner” is set to make his comeback, as revealed during tonight’s Dynamite.

For a long time, AEW President Tony Khan has been peppered with questions about Kenny Omega’s status in various media interviews and press conferences, yet he could not provide clear updates. While Omega wasn’t around, Kazuchika Okada filled his spot in The Elite. More recently, Jack Perry joined them, which led to a brutal attack on CEO Tony Khan.

Fans who were afraid they would never see their favorite star again can now take a deep breath. As AEW Dynamite gets ready to go to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on May 1, Omega will definitely be there in his hometown. The news came out during the April 24 show of AEW Dynamite, making sure that Kenny Omega will be back in the next episode.

As soon as AEW shared the news, The Cleaner went on social media to let his fans know about his exciting return, accompanied by an emotional note.

Kenny Omega breaks silence on his AEW return

Omega will be on next week’s AEW Dynamite, but what he will be doing there has not been revealed yet. Despite this doubt, he seems thrilled and excited about the chance to return to the arena, as shown by his recent tweet: “It’s been a long time.”

Meanwhile, AEW and Omega have not provided any information on his medical clearance. If he is cleared, speculation suggests he could be involved in the recent storyline where Tony Khan was brutally attacked by the new Elite. If things unfold as speculated, it promises to be an intriguing plot twist.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
