Kevin Owens injury: did he get hurt against Logan Paul?

CM Punk isn’t the only WWE superstar dealing with physical problems; former world champion Kevin Owens also battled with a broken foot during the Royal Rumble. At the main event, Owens competed against Logan Paul for the United States Championship.

Along with the difficulties of dealing with a serious injury, The Prizefighter’s quest to regain the U.S. championship ultimately ended in loss. It seems like he has been previously hit hard by Grayson Waller on December 1st week.

When did Kevin Owens get injured?

Just days ago, WrestleMania anticipation reached its peak, but excitement quickly deflated as Kevin Owens clashed with Logan Paul at the Royal Rumble. Although KO was unsuccessful in winning the US title, the 15-minute classic between Paul and Owens was a highlight for the Tropicana Field crowd.

When Austin Theory interfered with the bout, brass knuckles were brought into action. This caused the contest to take an unexpected turn. However, Kevin Owens battled through the whole event despite a broken foot he had suffered in a prior fight with Santos Escobar.

Many were shocked that Owens persisted in fighting for another fourteen minutes after suffering such a serious injury. There is still a lack of clarity on the severity of the fracture and how it would affect Owens’ involvement at WrestleMania.

After overcoming an ankle injury in 2020 and two metacarpal bone fractures in 2023, Owens is no stranger to injury. The WWE Universe is waiting for an official statement on Owens’ progress and whether or not he will be able to compete at Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.

Will Kevin Owens make it to WWE Elimination Chamber?

WWE has exciting news as they’ve confirmed the Elimination Chamber 2024 event in Perth, Australia, marking their return after six years. The Rock’s possible attendance on February 24 event has been the subject of intense curiosity among probable participants.

After the Royal Rumble, fans are likely hoping for a beginning to the rivalries that will define WrestleMania in the Elimination Chamber. Initiation of the rivalry between Logan Paul and Kevin Owens might spark there, however, Owens’ foot injury could prevent him from competing.

Despite being born close to last year’s Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Kevin Owens was unable to participate due to WWE scheduling conflicts. Recently, fans were frustrated by his injury, even though he became the top candidate for the US Championship. Even while WWE hasn’t officially announced the injury vacation of the 39-year-old former champion, supporters are still holding out hope for good news next month.

Will WWE sideline KO as they did last year or keep him in the Elimination Chamber this year despite his injury? Share your opinion in the comment section.

Oh, hi, this is Md Robin Ahmed, a WWE fan and I everyday go through a slew of popular WWE stories on Sportszion. Watching Big Show's Showstopper was the beginning of my passion for WWE, though I have to say that his Chokeslam is not one of my favorite moves. Over time, my love for professional wrestling has intensified, mostly due to the Shield, and my all-time favorite wrestler in WWE is Big Dog. I would give everything to be able to be within a few feet of him to witness his iconic Superman Punch and Spear. My major is engineering, but I'm most happy when I'm doing something artistic that doesn't put me under any pressure. Watching them wrestle and discuss their matches is always fun for me. And I've finally discovered a career that gives me fun since it allows me to with my dream heroes lifestyle. So, Welcome! I'd love to hear from you on LinkedIn and Facebook.
