Khamzat Chimaev is gearing up for his much-anticipated comeback inside the Octagon after nearly a year of being away. Chimaev has issued a stern warning to his next opponent, Paulo Costa, with ferocious words, declaring that he will bring Costa to tears during their fight.

“Borz” is displaying immense confidence, stating that he has his sights set on not just one, but at least three titles in three different weight classes. With such bold declarations, Chimaev is making it clear that he’s ready to dominate the UFC and become a force to be reckoned with once again.

In the build-up to his highly-anticipated return fight, Khamzat Chimaev didn’t hold back in the verbal exchanges with his Brazilian opponent. Taking a dig at Costa, he pointed out that even people from Brazil dislike him.

Now, ‘Borz’ is making a bold promise, vowing to bring Costa to tears when they step into the Octagon together. This sets the stage for what could be an enthralling and emotionally charged showdown between the two competitors.

“I’ll make that guy cry in the cage like I always do. Smash. Smash somebody, make money. Make that guy cry, go home and be in Brazil. Nobody likes him, all Brazilians write to me and support me. That guy’s not Brazilian, so I’m going to go and smash this guy and make him cry.” Khamzat said.

Chimaev’s taunting gestures have injected some intensity into their upcoming confrontation, creating an exciting clash between two skilled fighters. Despite his long period of inactivity, the Chechen athlete has remained dedicated to training during his time away from competition.

Chimaev aims for 3 titles including Adesanya’s middleweight belt

With an unblemished record in the UFC, Khamzat has demonstrated his willingness and ability to compete in various weight divisions. The purple belt holder in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expressed interest in challenging for the middleweight belt, which is currently held by Israel Adesanya.

“It will come, all my titles will come soon. I’m ready for all divisions, it doesn’t matter for me. I can go down, I just need the time. Not like last time giving me four weeks.” Khamzat said.

The three-time Swedish National Wrestling Champion shows his ambitions are not limited to one division, as he has set his sights on attaining at least three titles in different weight classes.

“Of course, if he’s ( Israel Adesanya) the champ, of course, I’ve got my eye [on him]. I’ve got all champs in my eye. I want my belts, at least three belts.” Chimaev added.

With his sights set on greatness, Chimaev is driven to achieve success in multiple weight divisions, starting with his upcoming bout against Costa. Defeating The Eraser would be a significant step towards becoming a dominant force in the UFC across various weight classes.
