Kurt Angle on Randy Orton’s return
The return of Randy Orton to WWE at the Survivor Series WarGames 2023 has caused a stir in the world of professional wrestling, particularly due to his muscular appearance. Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle was also delighted with Orton’s return, stating that WWE required his presence.
After being away for over 18 months due to a back injury, Orton surprised everyone with his physique and agility upon his return, being arguably in the best shape of his career. He delivered a stellar performance in the main event of Survivor Series WarGames 2023 and helped his team defeat Judgment Day.

“Yes, he looks like a superstar. Randy Orton is back in the WWE—that’s the best news I’ve heard in a couple of years. Randy is really special. He’s an unbelievably talented individual, and I think WWE really needed him. He does look great. I’m just happy he’s back because he really struggled with that surgery. Yeah, his back wasn’t getting better; he was really frustrated, and I’m just glad that he was able to make it back,” said Kurt Angle.
John Cena congratulated Randy Orton on his WWE return
Randy Orton made a great comeback to WWE a few weeks ago at Survivor Series WarGames 2023 on November 25. He was out of the squared circle for almost two years due to a serious back injury that he suffered because of an ambush from the Bloodline faction. Now this rivalry is again set in motion, as The Viper has set his eyes on the heel faction.
During the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Randy Orton was given a choice between “Raw” and “SmackDown.” The former WWE Champion decided to sign on with the “SmackDown” brand due to his quest for vengeance against The Bloodline, except Jey Uso. His decision was witnessed by all the WWE fans present in the arena.
WWE superstar John Cena expressed his delight on Twitter about the return of his former rival Randy Orton to the wrestling promotion. Cena shared a video of Orton’s return to SmackDown with the caption, “Absolutely incredible to see @RandyOrton continue to excel after such a storied career, A massive pickup for #SmackDown, and a word to the wise… Watch out for that RKO!”
