Lando Norris update: reviewing the latest on McLaren star after Las Vegas GP crash

Lando Norris has been progressively performing well after the update to the McLaren car. However, a heart-stopping moment on the Formula One track caused concern among the spectators.

During the Las Vegas GP, a tense moment was observed as a moment of silence over the team radio sent shockwaves. Fortunately, recent updates have provided information about the condition of the British-Belgian driver after the incident.

Lando Norris update

During Sunday’s race, Norris encountered a crucial moment when he lost control of his McLaren, just three laps into the competition. The race took an unexpected turn as his car collided with the barrier in Turn 12, and he slid out of the track, eventually retiring from the race.

Following the crash, Norris took a moment to hold himself together and confirm his condition over the team radio, audibly breathing heavily.

F1 officials took the 24-year-old to the track’s medical center for a thorough check of his physical state. Subsequently, he was transferred to the University Medical Center hospital for “further precautionary investigations”.

Shortly after the end of the Grand Prix, Verstappen’s win over Charles Leclerc confirmed Norris’s discharge.

Many pictures were later taken, which showed the McLaren driver was back at the circuit for the post-race debriefs.
