Austin Reaves recently told ESPN’s Zach Lowe that they have been training over the weekend in San Diego, and almost everyone on the roster attended. He said, “Obviously Bron puts it on. We went down to San Diego. We got down Thursday and had dinner on Thursday night and then Friday and Saturday were workouts and practice. Not really practice, but just getting in the gym and doing a lot of 5-on-0 stuff, running over basically foundation stuff.”
However, coming off a season in which they made it to the Western Conference Finals despite completely remodeling their roster at the trade deadline, there’s been a lot of speculations about what the Lakers can accomplish with a full training camp together to gain some continuity. With all the positive steps the Lakers team is taking ahead of the 2023/2024 season, there is no doubt that LeBron and his teammates are in for a championship race.
