LeBron James attends USC vs Stanford game to watch son Bronny James in action

Lakers star LeBron James played the role of a proud father on Saturday as he was spotted attending his eldest son Bronny James’ college basketball match. Bron has been involved a lot in his son’s games especially after Bronny had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Bronny on the other hand has recovered from the serious health condition and has gained more confidence in his game. He was congratulated by various NBA stars including Kevin Durant and Dwayne Wade when he made his official NCAA debut.

LeBron James appears to watch Bronny play

LeBron James appeared in the match of USC vs Stanford to witness his eldest son Bronny James play. James has been a great father figure lately attending most of his eldest son Bronny and younger son Bryce’s basketball games. Bronny is currently playing collegiate basketball while the younger son Bryce is playing at the high school level.

A clip of Bron popping out in the USC vs Stanford game was shared on social media. In the clip, Bron could be seen doing a special handshake with his son Bronny and then proceeding to look for a place to sit.

He was wearing a black hoodie while Bronny was dressed in his burgundy-colored official college team’s basketball jacket. Bron was looking relaxed while Bronny had a more focused look on his face as he was preparing for a game.

USC beat Stanford

In classic fashion, USC Trojans grabbed the victory over Stanford with a final score of 93-79. Bronny James who is a freshman guard on the team had a minor but valuable contribution to the game.

Bronny scored two points, collected two rebounds, provided an assist, and had two successful steals in the game. However, this match against Stanford was not Bronny’s day as he was not able to tap into his rhythm which he had displayed in previous matches.

Bronny entered the matchup averaging 7.5 points, 1.7 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game. He has found his form offensively after making a successful recovery from his prior health problems.

He had scored a career-high 15 points in his match against Oregon State and was applauded by his father LeBron James for that performance. LeBron James also recently hinted that it might be time that Bronny could even play for the Lakers.
