However, James hasn’t shown any signs of age catching up to him as he is still delivering great performances week after week and established a historic record in the NBA last year.
At his appearance on the NBA All-Star weekend, LeBron entertained the idea of his retirement and talked about it. James said that he was not sure what style of retirement he should go for. He was swinging between a retirement tour like the Lakers icon Kobe Bryant and a “no one gets to know” Tim Duncan style.
The fans were quick to react to his statements and rushed to the comments section to express their opinions. One fan commented, “HELL NO I NEED THE FAREWELL TOUR TF U MEAN GOAT???” expressing his desire to see Bron have a retirement tour.
LeBron discusses Lakers future
Later on, in an interview session, LeBron James discussed his future with the Los Angeles Lakers. He expressed his desire to stay with the franchise until the day he retires and shut down the rumors connecting him to the Golden State Warriors.
King James expressed his desire to stay with the Lakers as he said, “I am a Laker. I am happy and have been very happy being a Laker for the last six years and hopefully, it stays that way.”
Bron also added some words regarding his future with the Lakers and gave insights on how long will he be playing in the league. “I do not have an answer to how long it is going to be or which uniform I will be in. Hopefully, it is with the Lakers. It is a great organization, with so many greats. But we will have to see,” said Bron.
