Logan Paul compliments Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW ahead of his Crown Jewel fight against Rey Mysterio

On this week’s Monday Night RAW, the WWE Universe witnessed the formation of an unexpected alliance when Dominik Mysterio and Logan Paul joined forces. These two heels put aside their differences and united in their shared animosity towards the United States Champion, Rey Mysterio, whom Paul is scheduled to face at the upcoming Crown Jewel Pay-Per-View event.

Logan Paul made his debut in WWE at WrestleMania 38, where the social media Maverick teamed up with The Miz to take on the team of Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik Mysterio. Now that ‘Dirty Dom’ has come a long way since his last encounter with Paul, it looks like the two superstars are joining forces against The Master of 619.

Logan Paul compliments Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW

Logan Paul returned to Monday Night RAW this week. Fresh off a victory in his boxing match against Dillon Danis, the Maverick looks forward to picking up another win in his wrestling career against the United States Champion Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. Paul appeared on SmackDown last week, where he challenged Rey Mysterio to a singles bout at the upcoming PLE, which Mysterio accepted.

Appearing on RAW alongside Dominik Mysterio, Paul talked about the similarities between them. He went on to praise Dirty Dom, saying that he was ‘dripping with passion’ and admired him for managing to become the North American Champion despite growing up with a ‘deadbeat’ dad.

The two heels were showered with boos from the crowd, which seemed like a fitting response to them. Afterwards, Paul turned his attention to Samantha Irwin, and seemingly apologized to her for announcing him as the winner when he defeated her fiancé, Ricochet, at SummerSlam earlier this year. He followed it up by inviting her to the ring and then trying to coerce her into announcing him as the “new United States Champion”, for the time when he beats The Master of 619 at Crown Jewel. This prompted Ricochet to attack Logan Paul, which ended in a brawl and set up Ricochet vs. Dominik Mysterio for RAW next week.

Logan Paul set to face Rey Mysterio on WWE Crown Jewel 2023

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Logan Paul made his return to WWE. The Maverick wasted no time in making his intentions clear, saying that he has his sights set on the United States Championship. He also reminded the WWE Universe about his victory against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania last year.

Rey Mysterio came out to the ring and said that Paul reminded him a lot of his son, Dominik. The Hall of Famer pointed out that while Logan has amazing natural ability, a lot of passion, and an incredible career ahead of him, he has a big mouth. The Master of 619 said that Paul needed some humbling and that he would not hesitate to “whoop his a**”. With this, he challenged Logan Paul to a singles match at Crown Jewel for the United States Championship. Their match was later confirmed, and both superstars are now set to face each other at the upcoming PLE next month.

While it looks like Logan Paul has found an ally against Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel, which ironically is Rey’s own son, it’s more or less guaranteed that the Hall of Famer would have someone on his side as well. Stay tuned for further updates on Logan Paul and WWE.
