The Viper Randy Orton made his most anticipated return to WWE in the Survivor Series in Men’s War Games match. He then appeared on Monday Night Raw this week confronting Judgment Day after winning in the War Games match.
After Crown Jewel, Logan Paul, the Maverick, made his appearance on Friday Night SmackDown as the WWE United States Champion and made a huge announcement after Orton signed the SmackDown contract, deciding to be a part of the SmackDown roster over Raw.
Randy Orton chooses SmackDown
Randy Orton made his triumphant return to WWE at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 25, 2023. His unexpected appearance during the WarGames match sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe and ignited a new chapter in his illustrious career. The 14-time World Champion made his comeback to SmackDown with a huge ovation.
In the ring, Adam Pearce, Raw General Manager, and Nick Aldis, SmackDown General Manager, were holding the contracts for Orton to choose between Raw and SmackDown. Pearce offered the World Heavyweight Championship opportunity to Orton if he chose the Raw roster. On the other hand, Aldis promised Orton that he would get a match against the Bloodline if Orton chose SmackDown.

Orton was interrupted by Paul Heyman and the Bloodline. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso confronted Orton and attacked him. LA Knight came to the rescue, and Orton delivered an RKO to Jimmy Uso. After this, Orton threw away the Raw contract and signed the SmackDown contract.
Heyman looked really upset at this decision, and Orton took the mic and said, “Hey Paul, you can call Roman Reigns and tell him Daddy’s Back.” On Monday Night Raw, Orton confirmed that he would be taking on all the members of the Bloodline. Now its clear that Orton is ready for his revenge against the bloodline and the Tribal chief Roman Reigns.
Logan Paul makes huge Randy Orton announcement
Logan Paul, the Maverick made his return to WWE after winning the United States Championship from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. Paul announced Nick Aldis agreed to an 8 men tournament to decide the next contender for US Title.
Santos Escobar, Dragon Lee, Karrion Kross, Bobby Lashley, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, and Kevin Owens were revealed as tournament participants. In addition, to add some interest to the announcement, Paul mentioned that one unnamed superstar from “WWE NXT” will be entering the field.

At the end of tonight’s Smackdown Logan Paul released a video with him and Orton on twitter. He said, “We just did Impaulsive with the legend, the legend killer I should say, Randy Orton, ladies and gentlemen. SmackDown tonight, don’t miss it.”
