One of the last things someone can expect is a call from his/her job about getting released and recently the same happened to Cameron Grimes. Since then, the former NXT North American Champion has received overwhelming support from his co-workers and one of those co-workers was Logan Paul.
In the latest episode of “Busted Open Podcast”, Cameron Grimes revealed that Logan Paul was one of those who shared some encouraging words with him following his release.
Grimes said, “This is gonna sound weird because the level of star he is, but Logan Paul actually reached out to me, and I thought that was pretty cool because he’s a megastar really, even beyond wrestling. He reached out to me and said some stuff to me, so that helps me feel good.”
Grimes also revealed that he and Gregory Shane Helms aka The Hurricane helped Logan Paul get ready for his WrestleMania 40 match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.
The NXT star was one of the latest victims of WWE’s budget cuts, which he revealed via social media on Tuesday. Only time will tell what’s next for the 30-year-old, but we already know what’s next for Logan Paul.
Logan Paul set to make first WWE appearance since WrestleMania 40
After the chaotic WrestleMania match against Randy Orton and K.O., Logan Paul has yet to make an appearance on WWE programming. But the wait is over as The Maverick is ready to make his return on WWE RAW next week.
Logan Paul pinned Kevin Owens on night 2 of WM 40 thanks to IShowSpeed’s viral interference in the match.
Whether he picks up his rivalry with the Apex Predator again or moves into a different feud altogether is yet to be seen, but possibilities are limitless as the WWE Draft is set to shake up the rosters, starting Friday night on SmackDown.
