The highly anticipated boxing bout between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul concluded on a controversial note. In response to the event, eminent celebrities from the combat sports world voiced their opinion on the animosity-filled bout on social media.

Logan Paul wins via DQ against Dillon Danis

The result of the bout between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis did not stray away from the consensus. Logan Paul was picked to win overwhelmingly and the betting odds suggested just that. Paul won the fight via disqualification in the sixth round.

The bout ended unceremoniously after Danis tried to choke Logan Paul with a guillotine attempt. However, he failed miserably. Security personnel came to the ring and Danis began to throw hands at them. Funnily enough, he even missed the wild swing at them too. Paul was declared the winner post the antics of Danis. Danis going for a guillotine choke was similar to what Nate Diaz did against Jake Paul. However, Diaz’s hold was tight whilst Danis failed to even properly grab his opponent.

The bout was a highly anticipated grudge match. Danis with his insensitive attack on social media against Nina Agdal, the fiancee of Logan Paul was the main talking point of the bout. Danis’ actions against Agdal have resulted in lawsuits and a restraining order. The decision of Paul stressing a lawsuit against Danis was deemed unfavorably by sections of the combat sports community. No news of continuing or withdrawing the lawsuit has been made as of yet.

Interestingly, Danis called out Hansen for tax evasion and accused Ryan and Paul of being PED users. Moreover, Ryan was accused of being Paul’s drug dealer.
