Manchester United are looking to have a fantastic transfer window, but despite signing three players earlier in the summer, things haven’t shaped up well for the club. Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund have all joined the club, but unfortunately, only Onana has managed to stay injury-free.
Injury problems have led to serious calls from the club’s hierarchy to bring in more players before the transfer window closes later today. United have identified some potential targets, but getting them before the transfer window officially closes now poses a real problem as the club gear up for a busy transfer deadline day.
United set for a busy deadline day
The transfer deadline day is one of the most exciting days in football as fans see their club make important signings before the transfer window officially closes. Manchester United fans are prepared to see some movements in their team in the coming hours as the club tries to pull off some pieces of business before the end of the day.

Last season’s Carabao Cup winners have suffered injuries to first-team players like Mason Mount, Luke Shaw, and Raphael Varane in the past week. This has caused the club to look for temporary replacements for these players, with Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon closing in on a move to United on a loan deal. The former Real Madrid left-back will replace Luke Shaw, who will be out for a few months after suffering an injury against Spurs two weeks ago.

Long-term midfield target Sofyan Amrabat may join the club on deadline day as United aim to strengthen their midfield. The club’s pursuit of Amrabat suffered a major setback a few weeks ago, but reports now suggest that United may be nearing an agreement with Fiorentina to bring the Moroccan international to Old Trafford.
Dean Henderson ends 12-year stay with the Old Trafford outfit
Dean Henderson’s United career has come to an end after 12 years at the club as the former Nottingham Forest loanee joins Crystal Palace permanently. The England international joined Manchester United as a teenager from Carlisle United and broke into the first team in 2020 under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He made his debut in September against Luton Town in an EFL Cup encounter and became a mainstay in the team the following season.
After a few first-team appearances, Henderson was sent on loan to Nottingham Forest last season, and his talents caught the eyes of Crystal Palace, who forked out over $20 million to sign him from Manchester United.
