Max Verstappen outlines his simple “dominate and depart” approach at the upcoming F1 Las Vegas GP 2023

Las Vegas is a lavish city that dazzles the senses at every turn. From the moment visitors set foot on the city streets, they find themselves immersed in a world of luxury, entertainment, and much more.

Every F1 enthusiast is equally hyped up for the upcoming Las Vegas GP, marking the first time F1 has raced in Vegas since 1983. However, the Dutch sensation, Max Verstappen, seems rather nonchalant about the entire event.

Max Verstappen outlines his intent for F1 Las Vegas GP 2023

Max Verstappen claims that Formula is making its way to Vegas solely for “the show” and not for any racing purposes. For the event, a specially designed paddock has been built, signifying Formula 1’s establishment of a more enduring presence in the city. The races are set to mostly occur at night, amid cool temperatures.

However, despite the weather forecast, the conditions remain uncertain. Drivers are still unfamiliar with the track grip, which will be quite challenging for all of them, including industry heavyweight Max Verstappen, as he acknowledged.

The Dutchman does not express enthusiasm about the Las Vegas GP, as stated in his most recent interview. When asked for his opinion on the event, he remarked, “First of all, we are there more for the show than the race itself, looking at the layout of the circuit.”

“I’m not that much into that, I’m more: ‘I’ll go there, do my thing and be gone.”

“I’ll deal with that once I arrive on the track. I mean, there’s still a lot to do.”

Max Verstappen’s record-breaking 2023 season

Max Verstappen has undoubtedly broken many records in his career, having started racing at a very young age. Within a remarkably short period, he won three consecutive World Championships, dominating the entire Industry.

The Red Bull driver has been linked to several legends of the Industry due to his inhumane capabilities and extraordinary driving skills. Recently, the three time World Champion has secured a record extending 17th victory of the 2023 season at Interlagos, which also means he has broken Albert Ascari’s 71 year old record.

Regardless of the outcome of the remaining two races of this season, Verstappen will finish the campaign with the highest percentage of wins in a season, surpassing Ascari’s 75% from 1952.

Will Verstappen be able to profusely dominate the next Season too successfully? Do let us know in the comment section below.
