Merab Dvalishvili shares single emote following Sean O’Malley training session
Sean O’Malley has become a superstar for the promotion after he won the bantamweight title from Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292 with a second-round knockout. After his first title defense against Marlon Vera, the only man who holds a victory over him, the champion has set his sights on Merab Dvalishvili.
O’Malley recently uploaded a skit video of him training for Dvalishvili on the Instagram channel of his podcast, the TimboSugarshow, with the caption. “Training hard for MARAB #UFC”. In the video, O’Malley was seen running away from his coach, Tim Welch, who mimicked Dvalishvili.
However, at the end of the video, O’Malley landed jumping knees with which he put Welch, in this case Dvalishvili, on his back. Dvalishvili found the video funny and thus he responded with an LOL emoji in the comments section.
The knee that O’Malley threw is one of his deadliest weapons inside the octagon. The bantamweight champion landed it on Petr Yan and Marlon Vera, hurting them badly in their respective bouts against O’Malley.
Merab Dvalishvili uploaded hilarious skit aimed at Sean O’Malley
Merab Dvalishvili has made a name for himself with hilarious skits on his social media channels. As the number one contender at bantamweight, O’Malley has been his recent target in these skits.
In one of his skits, he employed a look-a-like of Sean O’Malley. Now, he has employed the same person in the new skit, captioned “You can run … but you can’t hide. 🦾 #sixyearsofcallouts”, in which Dvalishvili came as a nightmare in O’Malley’s dream and mind.
At the end of the video, the Sean O’Malley lookalike ran away from his home with his bag, leaving the championship belt. The fans were grateful to Dvalishvili for finding a person who resembled O’Malley more than the video.
Dvalishvili is on a 10-fight winning streak with his latest victory against Henry Cejudo at UFC 298 in Anaheim, California. After the victory, he tied Aljamain Sterling’s record and had called out O’Malley.
Although not officially announced, Dana White had verbally confirmed that Dvalishvili would get the next title shot in the post-fight press conference of UFC 298, as per Yahoo Sports.
