A little while back, the 41-year-old diva was diagnosed with a tumor that she got removed after surgery not so long ago. WWE and AEW stars like Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Mercedes Mone, Beth Phoenix, and many others wished the star a healthy and speedy recovery after tumor removal.
Maryse shares a positive health update
Maryse Mizanin shared the tragic health update on her IG account last month and even explained that she would get a hysterectomy to stop it from developing into a tumor. And recently she posted a picture of herself on her official Instagram, where she shared the good news of her tumor removal. The caption explained the details of her troubles with her illness and how she feels now after it has been removed.
The post on Instagram read, “As you know, 2 weeks ago I went in to surgery to have my ovaries/uterus/tubes/cervix/omentum removed. I also had staging (removal) of the lymph nodes in my abdomen to see if the disease had spread. Pathology confirmed that it had not which is amazing news! More amazing news is that I am tumor free! The diagnosis did confirm that I had Primary Peritoneal Serous Borderline Tumors with involvement of ovaries/uterus/tubes!”
She continued the long message saying, “Just to give you an idea of the rarity – 7 cases per million of women in the US per year! The fact that we not only found this but found this at this manageable stage is unbelievable and literally saved my life as this would have most likely been lethal. Next, I will continue to rest following my surgery and then will follow up with specialists at MD Anderson in Houston.”
“I can never say thank you enough to my doctor @drthaisaliabadi and her team! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I’m overwhelmed by the amount of support I’m getting from family, friends, and fans all over the world! To all my women, please keep being your own advocate and trust yourself always!”, she concluded.
WWE and AEW stars pour in love for Maryse
Maryse’s health condition surprised both fans and her colleagues, and many of them reacted positively to the news of her recovery. Among them, some wrestlers were from the Florida-based company All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Many AEW stars like Mercedes Mone and Miro shared their happiness with the news.
Wrestlers from WWE also congratulated the two-time Divas Champion for her health update. Superstars like Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Damian Priest, and many more wished her to get healthy soon.
