According to the recent reports suggested by Jason Solomon of the Solomonster Sounds Off podcast, the former AEW champion had to have surgery on his left shoulder since the therapy session he attempted didn’t work well.

Formerly speculated to return in March after meeting with Tony Khan, MJF’s return is now unclear because of the surgery. Moreover, because of these sudden changes in treatment, his feud with the Undisputed Kingdom has also had to undergo some creative modifications. It has also been reported that Adam Cole’s injury is also connected to these modifications.
