Months after expressing his desire to fight Conor McGregor, Jake Paul believes UFC icon should enter “rehab” as ‘Problem Child’ eyes potential bout with Canelo Alvarez

Conor McGregor and Jake Paul have been in a longstanding feud online. Jake has consistently issued threats claiming he would easily defeat The Notorious in a boxing match.

After picking up his recent win against UFC veteran Nate Diaz, the former Vine Star seems to have set his eyes on a high-profile opponent all the while making sure to land a brutal jab at ‘Mystic Mac’.

Jake Paul lands harsh jibe at Conor McGregor

After his impressive win against Nate Diaz, Paul didn’t hold back when discussing Conor McGregor during the post-fight press conference.

“I don’t care about that guy. Yeah, he needs to go to rehab! I want Nate in MMA. I want more professional boxers. I want Canelo (Alvarez)!”  Jake said.

Earlier in the highly anticipated boxing battle between Paul and Diaz, McGregor had predicted a victory for his old UFC rival. However, contrary to the prediction, Jake emerged as the winner in the bout held at the Dallas American Airlines Center.

While talking about the debut bout of Diaz, Conor mocked The Problem Child by saying, “The other cat’s a bit windy. He’s a donkey that guy, the other cat, but a donkey has kick, so you’ve got to be wary of that.”

The YouTuber-turned-boxer issued a bold threat, stating that he would give Mystic Mac the same treatment as he did to Diaz if they ever face off. Jake believes that he would be the biggest fight for McGregor and challenged him to call and accept the fight if he’s not afraid.

Despite McGregor’s previous experience fighting boxers like Floyd Mayweather, he has yet to respond to Jake’s challenge. The tension between the two fighters continues to build, with some fans eagerly waiting for McGregor’s reaction to Jake’s call-out.

Jake Paul talks on potential fight vs Canelo Alvarez

The YouTuber-turned-boxer is making a name for himself in the world of boxing. Previously, the younger Paul brother indirectly positioned himself as one of the faces of boxing.

As an admirer of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Jake did not let him down. When asked about the face of boxing, Jake mentioned Canelo by saying, “Canelo Alvarez is still the face, Gervonta Davis is the tits, and I’m the ass.”

After his somewhat convincing victory over the former UFC superstar yesterday, ‘The Problem Child”s aspirations seem to have grown, and he could now be eyeing stronger opponents, which includes Canelo.
