Months after trashing USADA, Conor McGregor stirs the pot in melodic fashion

Recently, Conor McGregor has found himself involved in a series of serious troubles, including the USADA controversy. In a tweet, the Irishman posted a voice message singing a song that mocked USADA, further adding to his track record of disputes and controversies.

Given this situation, it raises the question of whether the failure of the current season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) will have an impact on McGregor’s real-life situation and make it more difficult for him to return to the Octagon.

Conor McGregor mocks USADA by singing “the drugs don’t work”

Around a month ago, the Irish UFC superstar posted a controversial tweet criticizing USADA. In the now-deleted tweet, McGregor expressed his disdain for the organization, suggesting that USADA could go to the bin.

Mystic Mac further claimed he has never lied or tested positive for any banned substances and he has undergone over 70 clean tests under the USADA program.

The former two-division champion has yesterday once again mocked USADA by singing, “The drugs don’t work, they just make you worse. But I know I’ll see your face again,” in a Twitter audio post.

McGregor’s return to the Octagon severely hindered by rejecting USADA testing

McGregor’s statements may have contributed to the deteriorating relationship between him and USADA. There have been no indications that USADA officials have made any amendments or alterations to their established rules concerning this issue.

“We do not currently have a meeting set with Conor. As of today, we have not received notice of his coming out of retirement to compete,” USADA said.

USADA clarified that while the rules allow the UFC to grant exceptions to the six-month rule in extraordinary cases where strict adherence would result in significant unfairness to the athlete, USADA’s stance remains that Conor should undergo the full six-month testing period as required.
