A photo was posted on X (formerly Twitter) comparing Sabrina’s on-court and off-court looks. The fans flooded the comments section with their surprised reactions. One fan commented, “Bro ain’t no way that’s the same person,” expressing his stunned reaction after seeing the photos.
Another fan commented, “The basketball uniforms don’t do women any justice at all,” highlighting the fact that basketball uniforms can make a stunning woman look plain.
Kenny Smith is criticized for disrespecting Sabrina Ionescu
NBA icon and host on TNT’s Inside the NBA, Kenny, was recently criticized for his comments featuring New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu. Kenny gave his opinion that Sabrina should have shot from the WNBA line after she chose to shoot from the standard NBA line.
Kenny reportedly said, “She should have shot it from the women’s line, That would have been a fair contest.” The WNBA three-point line is shorter than the NBA line and Kenny insisted that Ionescu should have shot it from the line she is used to.
Many people were offended by Kenny’s statements and criticized his remarks. His co-host Reggie Miller was among the first ones to push back on his opinion. Upon hearing Smith’s remarks, Miller said, “Why are you putting those boundaries on her?”
The WNBA vs NBA 3-Point game was held for the first time to promote equality between the two genders and Sabrina’s decision to shoot from the same position as Curry was appreciated by many fans. However, it looked like Kenny did not get the intention of NBA Commissioner Adam Silvers.
