On Thursday, the Executive Committee of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) declared Andre Iguodala as the union’s Acting Executive Director. Iguodala takes over from Tamika Tremaglio, who held the position since January 2021 and is resigning to explore new opportunities after guiding the union through recent collective bargaining with the league earlier this year. Iguodala and Tremaglio will collaborate closely during this transitional phase.
Andre Iguodala’s appointment has attracted the attention of his former teammate Stephen Curry, who took to the tweeter to repost the NBPA message with the caption, “Big Moves @andre”. The two Stars had some glorious memories together which they shared when they both played for the Golden State Warriors for several seasons.
