The quarterbacks are lauded for the team’s good performance, and likewise, they are also bashed for the team’s poor performance. The Dallas Cowboys finished the last season with a 12-5 record after going 5-3 at home and 7-2 on the road, ultimately failing to reach the NFC championship game. Hence, the Cowboys QB Dak Prescott found himself in hot water following the regular season.
Nevertheless, Prescott is not ready to hear any rubbish about him. Instead, he remained adamant about defending himself and boldly voiced his optimism for the upcoming NFL season.
Prescott’s bold prediction for the 2023 Season draws attention
Dak threw 15 picks last season as well as had an interception percentage of 3.8%, marking the highest for any QB1. The signal-caller knows he is throwing too many interceptions, and hence, while speaking to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram at his youth camp, he delivered a heavy statement saying, “I won’t have 10 interceptions this year.”
The football prodigy remained humble by not putting blame on his wide receivers, albeit he believes some of his interceptions from the last season were the aftermath of drops.
“I know who I am, and you can go back and take away half of those off drops. I’m not saying it’s on the receiver, but if you cut that in half then we start talking about those, nobody is talking about it.”

Smith seemingly didn’t raise fingers at the Dallas’ dual-threat, albeit he seems less optimistic about the QB’s caliber.
The 29-year-old Cowboys star had a record of throwing at least 10 interceptions a total of four times throughout his past six seasons in the league. He threw double-digit interceptions in four of his six seasons while being a starter in at least 12 matches.
