Justin Jefferson never failed to showcase his dominance on the field. In the Vikings’ devastating loss against the Buccaneers today, he moonlighted as a hero by notching nine catches for 150 yards. Following the defeat, the 24-year-old WR looked deeply unhappy on the sidelines when CBS cameras captured him.

The concern regarding the young star’s contract is increasing constantly, albeit he chose to remain calm in the post-game interview. The Minnesota star remained optimistic about staying with the team and vowed to remain focused on football during the regular season.

“I have the same mindset as I had before. At the end of the day, all I can do is play football. And that’s what I continue to do. I know my team. My team doesn’t care about the contract, you know? And I don’t either. I just want to be here for my teammates, play for my teammates and of course get these wins,” he said.

Justin Jefferson caught 128 passes for 1,809 yards last season. He is signaling another potential productive season this year as well.
