NFL community slams Nick Bosa’s remarks on Chiefs players ahead of Super Bowl LVIII: “Loser mentality”

Super Bowl LVIII is nearly upon us, and it features the two best and most potent sides in the entirety of the league. We have the AFC Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the NFC Champions, the San Francisco 49ers, with both gunning for glory.

Ahead of this mammoth clash on February 11, the media is gearing up by speaking to different players on both teams before they make their way to Sin City. Among those athletes was the 49ers’ Nick Bosa, whose questionable statements about the opposition have raised quite a few eyebrows.

Nick Bosa expects to be held in Super Bowl LVIII

The San Francisco 49ers have an uphill climb to make if they are to stop the Kansas City Chiefs from clinching their second title in a row, and Nick Bosa will surely have a huge role to play in that. Over the season the DE has grown into his role and produced when it mattered the most for the Bay Area outfit.

However, when asked about the Chiefs’ LT Donovan Smith and RT Jawaan Taylor, Bosa had some choice words to say about the way they operate. According to CBS Sports, he summed up their entire game plan in four words: “They hold a lot,” seemingly throwing an allegation that both Smith and Taylor resort to unfair means to stop their opponents.

For an opposition player to take shots at their team ahead of the Super Bowl surely won’t sit well with the Chiefs’ faithful. However, they will have to wait a week and a half for the proper retort.

NFL fans blast Nick Bosa for remarks toward the Chiefs players

While an on-pitch retort has to wait for a while, Chiefs faithful sure game Bosa an earful on social media. After his comments about Smith and Taylor made their way online, the NFL community unleashed a barrage of abuses towards the DE, claiming that this was his way of making excuses ahead of the Super Bowl.

“Oh wow he’s already giving out an early response for their upcoming loss?” read one comment, while “That’s for the refs. Hes trying to get an advantage” quipped another.

The claims that he is trying to get an advantage from the refs based on these comments didn’t die out soon, as one comment read, “Already setting the stage to blame the refs,” which was a direct dig at Nick Bosa’s integrity.
