Late last night, Antonio Brown posted a crudely expressed five-word post on X (formerly Twitter) that has sent the NFL community into questioning Brown’s integrity in the sport and respect for fellow athletes. In the tweet, he made a derogatory comment directed towards Josh Giddey, saying, “Josh Getty on young Kitty” referring to the controversy where Giddey is being investigated for allegedly dating a 15-year-old minor.
The tweet got a mixed response on X, with some users seeing the funny side of things while others saw the hypocrisy involved. One user commented, “This coming from AB who exposed himself in a pool, is even more confusing.” Another quipped, “We will be reading AB tweets 1000 years from now like we read Meditations from Marcus Aurelius.”

Josh Giddey, a rookie athlete for the Oklahoma City Thunder, is under investigation for allegedly being involved with a minor before his playing days in the NBA. The league has now confirmed that they are investigating the matter, which could potentially result in a long suspension for the 21-year-old.

The claims emerged on social media and involved a 15-year-old girl high school junior. NBC News also reported on the investigation but noted that NBA spokesperson Mike Bass “offered no further information” when contacted.
“I understand the question, obviously, but there’s no further comment right now,” Giddey said. When asked again, he said, “I get the question guys, I completely understand you guys want to know about it but just for right now, I don’t have anything to say.”
