Nick Kyrgios once used his girlfriend money to hit back at tennis star who criticized him for accepting controversial Saudi Arabian money

Nick Kyrgios is famous for getting himself into drama and chaos, and this year the Aussie wildness has somehow reached a new level.  In the beginning of the year, he was recovering from an arthroscopic surgery. At the beginning of the year, tragedy struck again with a scary house burglary, during which the tennis star’s mother was held at gunpoint.

The incident led to further injuries and longer recoveries and has halted his mission to compete in any tournament this year. And while the unfortunate incidents continued, Kyrgios took his girlfriend to a nightclub in Los Angeles.

Nick Kyrgios once used his girlfriend to hit back at tennis critic

In July of this year, Nick Kyrgios supported the possibility of Saudi Arabia investing in tennis after the ATP and WTA announced that there was a chance. However, that led tennis star Daria Kasatkina to say that the idea and suggestion would go well and she doesn’t feel safe about it. She added that the reason Nick Kyrgios is supporting the move is because of the money.

Nick Kyrgios fired back at Daria Kasatkina, saying his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi, felt fine during their trip to Saudi Arabia. “My girlfriend felt fine there,” Kyrgios tweeted in response to Kasatkina’s comments

Daria Kasatkina said this about Nick Kyrgios’ views on Saudi Arabia entering tennis: “It’s easier for the men because they feel pretty good there, let’s say. We don’t feel the same way. So it’s going to be, let’s say, money talks in our world right now. For me, I don’t think that everything is about the money.”

“Unfortunately not everything is dependent just on us, and particularly me, for example. Also, as Nick Kyrgios said, he would be so happy to go there just for a big check. For me, money is not No 1, No 1 priority in this case, for sure,” Kasatkina said at Wimbledon.

It was reported that Daria Kasatkina didn’t support the move because she admitted that she was gay in July 2022 and presumably has concerns about how she would be received in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, since there is no date for the Aussie’s return to tennis, the tennis star performed as a tennis analyst at the ATP Finals in Turin.

Nick Kyrgios sparks buzz with sizzling LA nightclub photo with girlfriend

It is not the first time that Nick Kyrgios would do the some wild tennis but going to a nightclub in Los Angeles got tennis fans talking after he shared an intimate photo with girlfriend Costeen Hatzi on Instagram. The Australian tennis player has remained clear about his date of return and many fears that his playing future remains unclear as it seems likely that he is letting his injury woes get him down.

The 28-year-old star shared a picture of him licking Hatzi’s neck during a night out at a nightclub in Los Angeles. However, last month, Australian Open CEO Craig Tiley cast doubt on the availability of Nick Kyrgios at the first Grand Slam next year in Melbourne after he had said he would feature in the event in September.

‘We have spoken to Nick, and he obviously wants to do the best he possibly can to give him the best chance to play in January … Nick’s position will be determined closer to the event,’ Tiley said.

Nick Kyrgios, who slipped to 192 in the world ranking, has managed a single match in 2023 after withdrawing from all four grand slams due to a lingering knee injury and a torn ligament in his wrist ahead of Wimbledon.
