Odell Beckham Jr. Injury: Frustrated Ravens star leaves the field with stomach contusion after yet another NFL game with zero touchdowns

This offseason marked the Baltimore Ravens and Odell Beckham Jr.’s first knot and so far, it is going as expected with the Ravens enjoying the top position in the AFC North. However, the receiver’s stint in Baltimore has been somehow plagued with injuries and on-field unsportsmanlike behavior that prompted him to digest a good hit in his bank account

As the injury plagued Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens were locked into a fierce battle in Week 8, their star receiver discovered his name again in the injury list while ending the game with a frustrated face, failing to showcase his pro-level athleticism.

 Odell Beckham Jr. injury update

After skipping the Ravens Week 3 and 4 game due to a knee injury, Odell Beckham Jr. accumulated another injury mentioned in his Ravens’ journey. The Ravens player, who expressed his awe at a rookie player’s contract, received a strong hit from Cardinals safety Budda Baker in the fourth quarter of the game.

The event occurred as soon as the 30-year-old jumped to catch an overthrown pass when Baker’s knee was spotted to hit Beckham’s abdomen with his lower body.

After attending the medical team, the Ravens first-year receiver took his way to the locker room. He was declared questionable to return to the field while his injury was marked as a “stomach contusion”, per SI.com. Fortunately, OBJ was able to return to the field again, fighting with his injury.

Odell Beckham Jr. smashes helmet after failing to score TD

Coming off a season-high five receptions for 49 yards in Week 7, Odell Beckham Jr. was striving high to put forward another stunning run. Yet, luck was not in his favor, driving him to ultimately fail to haul in any of his four targets against the Cardinals.

It has resulted in the former Pro Bowl receiver getting annoyed with his performance for the Ravens team after taking the Baltimore field for a one-year deal. His frustration was much visible on the sidelines. The missed touchdowns led him to hate his own performance and rigorously smash his helmet on the sidelines with nearly 2 minutes left in the final quarter of the game.

The Ravens’ night concluded with a convincing 24-31 victory advancing them to 6-2 this season, yet their frustrated receiver left the field with zero receptions and no scrimmage yards.
