Speaking on the new project, Shakira said, “On behalf of myself and my Pies Descalzos Foundation, I express immense gratitude and pride in having allies and friends such as the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla, the La Caixa Banking Foundation, the FC Barcelona Foundation, and the Educational Foundation LCI for fulfilling a new dream: building a new school in Barranquilla and continuing to support girls, boys, and young people in the city.”
